Kejriwal government is active regarding 'Dengue' and 'Monkey Pox'

New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS) Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Tuesday visited the Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Hospital to inspect the treatment arrangements for dengue and monkeypox patients in Delhi government hospitals.

Saurabh Bhardwaj took information from the hospital administration about the arrangements made in the hospital for the treatment of dengue patients. Separate rooms have been arranged for dengue patients in the hospital, so that there is no risk of dengue spreading to other patients.

The Health Minister said that there is only one patient of monkeypox in the hospital, the condition of that patient is stable. Saurabh Bhardwaj tried to know the real condition of the hospital by talking to the patients and their families present there. He also talked to the hospital administration to know if there is any kind of problem here. While talking to the patients standing in the queue for prescription, he received a complaint that the patients are not getting complete medicines.

The hospital administration told Saurabh Bhardwaj that separate rooms have been arranged in the hospital for dengue patients so that other patients in the hospital are not at risk of dengue. Along with this, medicines and facilities are ready for the treatment of dengue patients.

Saurabh Bhardwaj immediately took cognizance of the complaint received regarding the shortage of medicines and directed the hospital administration to immediately provide medicines to the patients and asked to procure the medicines which have run out in the hospital as soon as possible. He also suggested to increase the number of medicine counters to manage the time spent in standing in the queue.

In view of the recent incidents of violence in hospitals, the hospital administration informed that CCTV cameras have been installed all around the hospital and a control room has also been set up to monitor them.

Saurabh Bhardwaj went to the control room and observed the activities of all the CCTV cameras. A person is present in the control room 24 hours a day to monitor these cameras.
