New Delhi, 14 June (IANS). The new variant of Kovid-19 in India has started showing a deadly form. There have been continuous deaths for the last few weeks. On Saturday, 9 deaths were recorded in India in just one day due to the new variant. 4 people lost their lives due to Kovid in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra and 3 in Kerala.
The Union Health Ministry released new figures at 8 am on Saturday. The Health Ministry said that 9 people died due to infection in the last 24 hours. Among those who died in Maharashtra include a 79 -year -old sugar patient, an 85 -year -old elderly who had problems in the kidney, and two other infected 55 and 34 years of infected. Everyone’s health was already said to be bad.
A 70 -year -old elderly woman died due to infection in Rajasthan, while a 73 -year -old elder in Tamil Nadu, who was already struggling with several diseases, succumbed.
According to the Health Ministry, 269 new cases of infection have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. Maximum 132 cases were registered in Karnataka. Apart from this, 79 people in Gujarat have been infected with Kovid. 54 in Kerala, 20 in Madhya Pradesh, 12 in Tamil Nadu, 11 in Sikkim, 9 in Haryana, 8 in Chhattisgarh, 7 in Rajasthan, 6 in Assam, 5 in Bihar, 3 in Manipur, 3 in Odisha-Tripura and Goa, two each in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand.
Following new cases of infection, the total cases of new variants in Kerala have been 2109. There are 1437 active cases in Gujarat, while 747 in West Bengal, 672 in Delhi, 613 in Maharashtra, 527 in Karnataka, 248 in Uttar Pradesh and 232 active cases in Tamil Nadu. There are 180 cases in Rajasthan and 102 in Andhra Pradesh.
