New Delhi, 16 June (IANS). There is news of relief about Kovid-19 infection in India. There has been a decline in cases of infection across the country for the second consecutive day. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases across India has now come down to 7,264.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare released data till 8 am on June 16. According to the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 119 active cases of Kovid infection have decreased across the country. The number of active cases in Kerala has also come below two thousand. However, in the last 24 hours, 37 more people have been infected in Uttar Pradesh, due to which the number of corona patients here has increased to 275.
According to the latest data, 87 cases of infection in Kerala have decreased. Apart from this, 38 in Maharashtra, 33 in Delhi, 23 in Tamil Nadu, 8-8 in Gujarat-Haryana, 7 in Punjab, 6 in Andhra Pradesh, 6 in Assam, 4 in Assam, 3 in Uttarakhand, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir, one in Puducherry.
However, in the last 24 hours, apart from Uttar Pradesh, 30 patients have been found in Kovid infection in Rajasthan, 18 in Karnataka, 5 in Manipur, 4-4 in Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh, one each in Chhattisgarh and Sikkim. The highest total active cases in Kerala are 1920 after the new figures, while 1433 in Gujarat, 649 in Delhi, 540 in Maharashtra.
Apart from this, 11 people have died due to Kovid infection in a day across the country. It is the second consecutive day when the death toll from the new variant has been more than 10. On June 15, 10 people infected with Kovid were killed across the country. The Health Ministry informed that Kerala has the highest number of 7 deaths in the entire country in the last 24 hours. The rest of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Delhi and Chhattisgarh have killed one patient.
