Keeping in mind the health of the countrymen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘PM Jan Aushadhi’ centers are being opened across the country under the Prime Minister Bharatiya Jan Aushadhi Project. Where medicines are being provided to people at cheap rates. BP, sugar, cholesterol, thyroid, heart related medicines are being provided at the ‘PM Jan Aushadhi’ center in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh.
Some beneficiaries taking advantage of ‘PM Jan Aushadhi’ scheme spoke to news agency IANS.
Arvind Kumar Srivastava, who is running the ‘PM Jan Aushadhi’ center in Varanasi, said that it has been almost five years since the store has been opened and there has been a lot of change in these years. Initially we used to have some medicines. However, now almost all types of medicines are being made available to the people. He informed that medicines related to BP, sugar, cholesterol, thyroid, heart are being provided at the center. Hundreds of patients are benefiting from this store of Jan Aushadhi. Here medicines are available at cheap rates compared to the market. Due to which financial savings of patients are also being done.
The beneficiary Ramesh said that good medicines are being received at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Medicines are available at a cheaper rate compared to the market. This is a good initiative for all by the Modi government. Earlier we used to buy medicines from private medical stores. But, now taking medicines from here.
Usha Singh said that I used to take sugar medicine from the market earlier, which was quite expensive. But, I now take all my medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Medicines are being provided here at cheap rates. Thanks to PM Modi that he brought this beneficial scheme to provide medicines at cheap rates.
Another beneficiary said that medicines are being received at a cheap rate at Jan Aushadhi Kendra. This scheme of PM Modi is Sanjeevani for the poor. He said that medicines are very expensive at private stores. I want to thank PM Modi that he is working for the welfare of the poor.
