New Delhi, 4 June (IANS). In today’s run -of -the -mill life, it is common to worry about insomnia, stress, anxiety and unnecessary. In such a situation, by including some things in your life, it can be made even better. One such practice is ‘Mindfulness’, which is called ‘alert’ or ‘full awareness’ in Hindi.
Experts say that Mindfulness currently teaches us to live, which improves mental and physical health. To include it in everyday life, just a few minutes of practice is enough. The practice of mindfulness may seem difficult to initially, but gradually making it your habit and 5–10 minutes of practice per day can also bring a big change.
Mindfulness means focusing on ‘now and here’. It calms your brain and helps reduce stress, anxiety or restlessness. You can understand this as an example, suppose, you are drinking tea. Feel the heat of tea, its fragrance and taste to practice mindfulness. Do not let your mind wander. This will make you feel calm and refreshed.
There are many advantages not one, not one, but not one. It reduces stress and anxiety by calming the brain. Increases concentration, so that you are able to pay better attention to your work. This helps you understand and control your feelings. Practicing only 5-10 minutes per day is also helpful in getting good sleep. Not only this, it also helps to control blood pressure, reduce depression and increase immunity.
Now the question arises how to do mindfulness? Sit in a cool place, close the eyes and focus on your breath. Feel it while breathing and leaving it.
The study published in the Journal Mental Health and Physical Activity suggests that changes in life that combine both physical activity and awareness are most effective in improving mood and improving health.
Researchers at the Bath University in the UK said, “People can be motivated to start exercise with mindfulness. The practice of mindfulness can control minor pain, discomfort or failure when the exercise is difficult. Mindyfulness is beneficial to unlock the positive benefits from exercise.”
Post Doctor Research Associate Resh Gupta of the Mindfulness Science and Practice Research Cluster at the US, Santaluis, Washington University said that the original idea of Mindfulness technology has to be focused at the current moment of judgment or prejudice. This can help eliminate anxiety and improve focus. Many researches took place and revealed that mindfulness could reduce symptoms of anxiety.
Mindfulness is a technique that is very helpful in bringing back our mental peace as well as tension and anxiety. New research has shown that cognitive control can be improved through mindfulness and thus also helps in dealing with anxiety.
People who practice regular mindfulness meditation are less symptoms of anxiety. New research suggests that focusing focusing can benefit people who continue to worry.
In a paper published in the Neuroscience and Bio Behavioral Review said, “We all experience anxiety, but it comes in many different ways. This makes it difficult to detect this problem. Instead of adopting the same measures for all, they suggest that different types of mindfulness practice may be helpful in dealing with different types of concern.”
