New Delhi, 13 July (IANS). Yoga is an important part of our life, which not only makes the body healthy but also gives peace and balance to the mind. There are many postures of yoga, of which ‘Natarajasana’ is a special and ancient posture. It is also called Dancer Pose because the condition of the body in this posture looks exactly like dance. Natarajasana helps in improving the balance of the body and makes bones and muscles strong. Nowadays most people have pain or muscle discomfort in different parts of the body, which is a major reason for sitting or walking wrong. Regular practice of Natarajasana provides a lot of relief in such pain and discomfort. This asana is inspired by the Nataraja posture of Lord Shiva, which not only balances the body, but also mentally stability and peace.
The official website of the Ministry of AYUSH (Madhya Pradesh) has explained in detail the way and benefits of doing this. By doing Natarajasana yoga, blood flow is better throughout the body. When the blood reaches the whole body properly, the body parts work well and we get more energy. Also, it also strengthens the heart and reduces fatigue. Better blood flow also makes the skin look healthy and shiny. Therefore, doing yogasan like Natarajasana is very beneficial for the body.
Doing this yoga reduces stress and gives peace to the mind. When we do this asana, both our body and mind are relaxed. This removes anxiety and nervousness. This posture of yoga makes us feel strong and happy from inside. By doing Natarajasana daily, we are able to control our mind and feel good.
Natarajasana Yoga makes the spine flexible. When we do this asana, our back muscles and bones are strong. This works properly and reduces problems like back pain. This asana relaxes the back muscles. By practicing it daily, our spine keeps our spine strong and healthy, so that we can easily walk and feel good.
In addition, doing this yoga increases the power to concentrate. When we balance this posture, our mind rests in one place and does not wander. This makes our thinking clear and we are able to pay more attention to some work. By doing Natarajasana daily, the mind remains calm. This increases the focus in studies or any work.
To practice Natarajasana, first of all you stand in a clean and flat place. Try to choose a place where you are easy to balance. Now relax your body and take a deep breath. After this, slowly bend the right leg backwards and hold the ankle of that leg with your hand. When you hold the leg, try to lift it upwards. During this time, spread the left hand straight in front so that you can maintain the balance of your body. In this situation, stay stable as much as possible and keep taking deep breaths. After staying in the same position for about 15 to 20 seconds, leave the feet slowly and return to normal. Now repeat this process with the other leg.
