Neem leaves and fenugreek seeds are beneficial in controlling diabetes
These days, as the lifestyle of people has changed, the list of diseases has also increased. Diabetes is one of these diseases. It can only be controlled with a good lifestyle, balanced diet and regular exercise. To control diabetes, apart from medicines, include fenugreek and neem leaves in your diet. Use this herbal powder:
30-40 curry leaves, 1 tablespoon fenugreek, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, half teaspoon black pepper:
Curry leaves: Curry leaves help control blood sugar levels and improve insulin function.
Fenugreek Seeds: Fenugreek seeds are known for their ability to lower blood sugar levels and improve glucose tolerance.
Cumin: Cumin has anti-diabetic properties and can help control blood sugar levels.
Turmeric: Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, has anti-inflammatory properties and may improve insulin sensitivity.
How to make powder?
Wash the curry leaves thoroughly and dry them. In a pan, lightly roast the fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds on low flame till they turn golden brown and aromatic. Keep aside to cool. Once the roasted seeds cool down, grind them finely using a spice grinder. Add the curry leaves, turmeric powder and black pepper to the grinder and grind everything finely. Store the powder in an airtight container. It can be kept for up to two weeks.
How to use?
Mix 1 teaspoon of this powder in a glass of warm water and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning. You can also sprinkle this powder on salads, soups or use it as a seasoning for various dishes.
