No less sesame oil than medicine! Skin, bone and heart take special care

New Delhi, 8 March (IANS). Sesame oil is more beneficial than mole for our body. Sesame oil is an amazing substance used in Indian homes for centuries. This oil is not only unmatched in taste, but due to its healthy properties, it is also considered an invaluable gem.

Sesame oil in the Indian subcontinent has an important place in Ayurvedic remedies, especially in winter.

According to Ayurveda, sesame oil acts to balance vata, bile and phlegm and strengthens the body internally. Sesame oil is described in the famous texts of Ayurveda such as Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita, where it has been considered a major medicine for health benefits.

It helps to make the skin soft and shiny. Also, by consuming sesame oil, it helps in reducing swelling and pain within the body. It is also helpful in maintaining flexibility in the joints of the body. Sesame oil contains a special antioxidant, which prevents the oil from heat and spoilage over time.

In ancient Ayurvedic medicine methods, it was used in both external and internal ways. This oil was used not only in food, but also for body massage, hair care and skin. This makes bones strong. Ayurvedic physicians considered sesame oil to be nurtured from inside and helpful in fighting diseases.

In Charak Samhita, it is said to give ‘forceful’ and ‘peace of body and mind’. In addition, it was also used in Sushruta Samhita to treat joint pain and skin diseases.

It holds an important place not only in Ayurveda but also in science. Scientific researches have proved that sesame oil contains ingredients like antioxidants, vitamins ‘E’, Sasmin, Sasmol and Omega-3 which are helpful in reducing inflammation in the body, controlling blood pressure and keeping the heart healthy.

This is a pure way to glow your face and not let the wrinkles dominate before age. Elements such as semin and sesmol increase serotonin in the brain, which reduces stress and depression. Its intake improves the mental state and the person feels more calm and happy. Also, sesame oil also improves the digestive process, which gives proper nutrition to the body.

There is also no response to sesame oil in preventing serious diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. An antioxidant called sesamin found in sesame prevents cancer cells from growing.

Modern researches have also proved that blood sugar level can be controlled by consuming sesame oil. This can be especially beneficial for diabetic patients, as it helps to maintain blood sugar levels.

Also, this oil improves heart health, as it contains minerals such as iron and magnesium, which strengthen the heart muscle and keep blood flow normal. Another advantage of sesame oil is that it removes constipation and keeps the stomach clean.
