Sometimes it can also be associated with health problems like your kidney or thyroid. So it is important to understand why this is happening.

Lack of sleep or wrong way to sleep

If you are not taking full sleep or sleeping down your head, then it can be the most common cause of swelling on the face. When you do not sleep in the right position or do not get enough sleep, fluid accumulates on the face, causing swelling in the eyes and cheeks. Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep daily and sleep slightly up your head to improve blood circulation.

High sodium foods or late dinner

If you sleep by eating chips, snacks, pizza or processed food at night, then your face is bloated in the morning. High sodium foods work to maintain water in the body, causing swelling on the face. Digestion is also affected by eating heavy food late at night and fluid starts accumulating on the face. Eat light and low salt food at night and sleep at least two hours after eating.

Dehydration means lack of water in the body

If you believe it or not, not drinking enough water can also swell your face. When there is a lack of water in the body, water accumulates in it, which can cause swelling under the face and eyes. Especially if you are taking too much tea, coffee or salty things throughout the day, then there is more water shortage. Do not forget to drink at least 7-8 glasses of water every day and drink a glass of lukewarm water in the morning.

Allergy or skin reaction

Sometimes the cause of inflammation on the face is also allergic or skin reaction. This allergy can be caused by eating, dust or reaction to a product. If there is frequent swelling around the eyes, lips or cheeks, then it is necessary to get an allergy test from the doctor. Also, do a patch test before using any new cream, face wash or beauty product.

Hormonal change or medical condition

Hormonal changes occurring during periods, pregnancy or menopause in women can also cause swelling on the face. Apart from this, there may be swelling on the face in the morning even in the event of thyroid, kidney problem or any other medical condition. If this problem remains for a long time and is not cured by home remedies, then it is better to consult a doctor. Sometimes swelling is also a sign of an internal disease.

Easy ways to avoid facial inflammation

Some easy habits can be adopted to avoid facial inflammation. For example, eat quickly and light food at night, drink plenty of water, get enough sleep and sleep with the head. In the morning, the swelling is reduced immediately by splashing cold water or applying ice on the face. Reduce the amount of salt and eat more fiber food. Also, be active throughout the day to maintain the metabolism of your body and keep the balance of water right.
