Lifestyle News Desk: As the average income of people across the world has increased, their spending power has also increased. Online shopping is working to fuel this power. Online shopping has not only made shopping easier but has also promoted it. A survey was conducted by clothing and footwear brand Public Desire about the clothing market, their prices and purchasing habits. This survey found that an average Indian spends about two lakh rupees a year only on purchasing clothes. Women are at the forefront among these buyers. Despite purchasing so much clothes and having a wardrobe full of clothes, hearing from a woman’s mouth that ‘I don’t have any clothes’. What should I wear?’ It is a very common thing. But, when you are spending a good part of your income on purchasing clothes, then why don’t you have clothes to wear on any special occasion? The truth is that you have no shortage of clothes. The problem is related to proper purchase and their maintenance. And this is a problem from which you can get rid of with a little effort. What to do so that you never have to cry for lack of clothes, let us know:
shop wisely
Went to the mall for shopping. Saw the discount board on my favorite brand and bought a lot of kurtas. But, while buying those kurtas, did you think whether you have their matching lower or not? Shirt, T-shirt, skirt or kurta…whatever you like, before paying the bill, think whether you already have matching clothes to wear with it or not. If this does not happen, then either the chances of wearing that dress will be very less or you will have to buy lowers separately to wear it. If you shop wisely, you will be able to wear the clothes bought with passion.
Why chase trends?
When the bell bottom trend came, I bought it. When the crop top trend started, they were bought in different colors. When a particular style of dress became popular, I bought it. Most of the people who complain that they have nothing to wear are actually shoppers chasing clothes. There is nothing wrong in adopting trends. But, filling your wardrobe with trendy clothes is not going to help. First of all, invest in good quality basic clothes. From footwear to white T-shirt. When you have basic clothes and accessories, styling trendy clothes will also become easy for you and you will never miss clothes.
stop buying similar clothes
We all have some strange habits related to clothes. If I liked a pattern, I bought a lot of clothes in different colors in that pattern. Be it a check pattern shirt or a cold shoulder top. But, what’s the point of filling your wardrobe with lots of clothes of the same pattern? By doing this your lack of clothes will not go away. Keep clothes with similar patterns in one place in your wardrobe. This will let you know how many clothes of a kind you have and you will be alert before buying something similar in the future.
It’s not good to have too many options
Just as having less options raises the question of what to wear, the same problem arises from having too many options. When the wardrobe is full of clothes, there is no other option but to stand in front of it and stare at the pile of clothes. As fast as you buy clothes, also remove those clothes from the wardrobe which you have not worn for a long time. Or throw out those clothes from your wardrobe which do not match your current style. When you have a balanced number of clothes in your wardrobe, you will get the opportunity to be more creative with them and experiment with new things.
