New Delhi, 7 April (IANS). The government said on World Health Day on Monday that it is very important for good food, plenty of sleep and a little exercise daily, it is very important for good health.
World Health Day is celebrated on 7 April every year. This year’s theme is – “Healthy start, hopeful future”
The Health Ministry wrote in a post on social media, “On this World Health Day, let us start small health related tasks, so that our future can become better and strong.”
In a video, the ministry advised people to include more fruits and vegetables in daily food. Walk more and spend less time and spend less time. Walk at least 30 minutes daily, run, dance or stretch so that the body is agitated. Get a good sleep at night so that both the body and the brain can be refreshed. Drink more water so that the body remains cold and energetic. Apart from this, take some rest in between, so that mental health also persists.
The ministry said, “On this World Health Day, we promise that we will take care of our health every day.”
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also asked the countrymen to adopt a healthy lifestyle and avoid obesity. He emphasized that every person’s fitness contributes to the development of the country and the goal of developed India.
Prime Minister Modi said on the social media forum X, “On the occasion of World Health Day, let us all take a pledge to create a healthy world. The government will continue to work on health for the good of the people. Good health is the foundation of a happy society.”
He said in a video: “Health is the biggest wealth.” At the same time, he warned that today our lifestyle is becoming a threat to our health. “
He expressed concern over obesity, saying, “According to a report, by 2050 more than 44 crore Indians can suffer from obesity. It is a very serious thing. If this happens it will become a big trouble.”
He immediately asked to prevent this from happening and suggested an easy change, “I want to promise you today that all of us should reduce our cooking oil by 10 percent. It will be a big step towards reducing obesity.”
He also encouraged people to include regular physical activity in his routine.
