New Delhi, 11 July (IANS). ‘World Population Day’ is being celebrated today in the country and the world. Many leaders including Union Health Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda and CM Rekha Gupta made the countrymen aware of ‘World Population Day’. He also mentioned the challenges related to the population.
BJP national president JP Nadda wrote on the social media platform X on Friday, “‘World Population Day’ is a platform to raise awareness about family planning and renew our commitment to deal with the challenges related to the population. This year’s theme, ‘The right time and difference of pregnancy for the health and welfare of this year,’ The right time and difference of pregnancy for the health and welfare of the child, emphasizes the importance of becoming a world-employed mother and child’s health. The slogan of Population Day 2025- ‘The age of becoming a mother, when the body and the preparation of the mind are right’- to remain physically and emotionally prepared to become a parent underlines the importance of informed and strong decision making. ‘
He further said, “The central government is providing essential family planning services across the country through public health facilities including Ayushman Arogya temples, which are strengthening families and paving the way for a healthy India.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “On World Population Day, we confirm their attitude of a justified, strong and equilant society, where every person gets opportunity, rights and respect. Our youth have the right to a future where they can choose the informed option, live with equality and dream without any limit. Go ahead, for which we are responsible. “
At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav wrote on X, “World Population Day makes aware that we should avoid situations like population explosion to provide better future and future generations. The unbalanced increase of population also adversely affects the essential resources with society and nation.”
Apart from this, Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasara said on ‘World Population Day’, “The continuous growing pace of population growth in the country is not only a matter of concern, but it is also becoming a serious challenge for our social, economic and environmental balance. On the occasion of World Population Day, we all together take up to spread awareness in the society towards the ill -fated population growth.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote on X, “The balanced population is a strong foundation for prosperous society and sustainable development. Population control is not only necessary, but a mandatory policy of nation-building. This goal can be achieved only by coordinated efforts of public awareness, public participation and public policy. Be forward in the direction of Samras, strong, self -reliant nation. “
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote on the social media platform X, “Rapid growing population also affects our resources, environment and quality of life. Come, let us all understand the importance of population control and family planning and play their role in a balanced and strong nation building by making the society aware.”
