Neemuch, 18 March (IANS). Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jan Aushadhi Kendras are being opened to provide cheap and good quality medicines to the common people across the country. The purpose of this initiative is to provide better health facilities to the citizens of every class and save them financially. A similar Jan Aushadhi Kendra has been started in Neemuch city of Madhya Pradesh, which is proving to be a boon for the people. Here, high quality medicines are available from the market at a low price of 70 percent, due to which hundreds of people are getting great relief daily.
Naveen Jain, who lives in Vikas Nagar of Neemuch, praised the initiative. He told in a conversation with IANS that medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendra are very cheap from the market. Low and middle class people are benefiting greatly from this.
Naveen said, “There is a savings of 10 to 70 percent. It is a great step for our country. We hope that in future, such centers open at every distance where medicines can be found at cheap prices. Thank you very much to Prime Minister Modi.”
At the same time, Govind Jaiswal, the director and pharmacist of Jan Aushadhi Kendra located on Gayatri Mandir Road of Neemuch, said that this scheme has been started in the interest of common people.
He said, “There are cheap and good quality medicines available for every category. People get 10 to 70 percent discount. Especially it is very beneficial for the elderly. Earlier, many elders were spent on two and a half to three thousand rupees every month, which is now being fulfilled for only one thousand rupees.”
Govind further said that through this center he is trying to help people. This center is meeting the needs of hundreds of people daily.
Local people are happy about this and consider it a source of great savings for their pockets. The special thing is that the quality of medicines is not being compromised. This initiative has not only accessible health services, but the trust of the people has also increased on the government. This Jan Aushadhi Kendra of Neemuch has proved that even in small towns, large schemes can show effect. People are considering it as the result of the foresight of the Modi government and welcoming it.
