Samastipur, 8 December (IANS). LJP (Ram Vilas) MP from Samastipur, Shambhavi Chaudhary said on Sunday that we will defeat TB with the help of district doctors in Samastipur. He started a 100-day special campaign against TB in Sadar Hospital.
He said that the NDA government is running under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 100-day special campaign against TB has started from Sunday. 13 districts have been identified in Bihar. There is also a Samastipur district, where this campaign is being started. A slogan has also been given to this campaign. The country will win, TB will lose. TB is a disease that affects the lungs. I remember well when I was young, a colleague in my house was suffering from TB.
He further said, “He died due to TB. Lakhs of people have lost their lives due to this disease. Today we have come to a situation where new medicines are being developed using medicine and technology. There has been a lot of improvement in the health system of the country. Health is our first priority and I have full confidence that with the cooperation of the district doctors. We will cure TB in Samastipur Will defeat.”
MP Shambhavi Chaudhary launched the 100-day long campaign under the TB Free India campaign at Sadar Hospital, Samastipur. He also flagged off the awareness chariot to various areas of the district.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasizing on strengthening India’s fight against TB, announced a 100-day special campaign, whose focus will be on the districts most affected by TB.
Central Health Department: This campaign will be run in 347 districts of 33 states and union territories of the country.
