New Delhi, March 20 (IANS). The reason for obesity after marriage is ‘Happy Fat’. It is not that we say a research. The results of this research also suggest that there may be more problems than women, meaning they are more at risk of obesity.
New research suggests that there is a shocking relationship between marriage and additional weight. A team of the National Institute of Cardiology in Warsaw, Poland found that marriage could increase your weight – but it is not the same for men and women.
Talking about obesity or obesity, countries with high income have also won. In which America is at the top position! In 2021, about 42 per cent of men and 46 per cent of women were obese.
Obesity increases the risk of type 2 diabetes, high BP, cardiovascular diseases and many types of cancer. In 2021, there were 172 million obesity in the US over 25 years of age. According to an estimate, by 2050 this rate will be 214 million.
Research on marriage and obesity analyzed data of 2,405 people (about half of women, half men) with an average age of 50 years. Out of this population, 35.3 percent were normal weight, 38.3 percent weighing and 26.4 percent were thick.
While getting married was equal to weight gain for both sexes, a strong relationship between marriage and obesity was found in men, in which married men were likely to increase obesity than the virgin people.
The study found no significant difference in obesity between married and unmarried women. This information repeats the findings of the previous study, which was found that after marriage, men are more likely to gain weight than women.
In that study published in a magazine called Economics and Human Biology, it was specially found that marriage increases body mass index (BMI) within the first five years in men.
Experts noted that this bounce in BMI came because men continued to eat more food and lesser while continuing their marriage.
Previous research has found that married individuals have much higher than BMI single person. It was found that the more satisfied in his relationship, the greater the possibility of getting fat and it is usually called “Happy Fat”.
In study, age was also considered as independent risk factor. The latest study found that with aging increases the risk of overweight and obesity in both sexes.
In addition, the study found that women who were living in less than 8,000 people were 46 per cent higher and the possibility of overweight was more than 42 per cent. At the same time, no change was seen in men.
