New Delhi, 12 May (IANS). Every night, good sleep and the next morning you must have taken so many measures to make yourself feel refreshed. But, you could not find peace somewhere. If you want to be mentally healthy then good sleep is very important.

If a person does not get good sleep, then he becomes irritable, its effect is also seen on his health. Therefore, it is very important to get a good sleep at night. However, people are deprived of getting good sleep at night by getting caught in work stress and other things.

There have been many suggestions about ‘good sleep’ in Ayurvedic and yoga texts. Some changes in practical life can also become a good sleep. As such, sleep is not called ‘gold’. There is also a saying, sleeping sleepy sleep!

So to get this gold, just live life properly. Rules have to be followed. If you want a good sleep on your bed every night, then you have to bring some changes in life. For example, the time of sleeping has to be decided. It should not happen that if you sleep at 10 o’clock today, you are sleeping tomorrow at 11 o’clock. For example, if you are sleeping at 9 pm, you will have to get up at 5 am. You have to follow this sequence daily. Do not sleep immediately after dinner, eat light meal 2 hours before bedtime. You can consume two rotis, light lentils in light food. Consumption of milk after some time of light meals will also prove beneficial for good sleep. Do not go to bed immediately after eating food, you can take a 10 to 15 minute walk, which will be helpful to relieve your day’s work stress.

If possible at night, massage with head oil. Apart from this, you can perform Anulom-Antonyms or Bhramari Pranayam before sleeping. Its duration is five minutes. By doing this, the mind will get peace.

The room where you sleep at night, reduce the lights there at night. Use room freshener in the room. Reduce the use of mobile phones before bedtime. Because, it does not allow the brain to calm down. If possible, keep the mobile phone away. It is also worth noting that it is also necessary to have cleanliness in the room where we sleep at night. In addition, a glass of water should be near the head which maintains oxygen levels around our head, which is beneficial for good sleep. One special thing, do not keep plants or flower pots in a gold room because we all know that carbon dioxide comes out of trees and plants at night, which can become a problem for those sleeping in that room.
