New Delhi, 16 June (IANS). The condition of Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi is now stable. He was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi late on Sunday night due to stomach problems. According to the hospital statement, the 78 -year -old former Congress president is currently under supervision in the Gastroenterology Department.

According to Dr. Ajay Swaroop, Chairman of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the Surgical Gastroenterology Department for a stomach related problem at 9 pm on Sunday night. Currently, his condition is stable and doctors are closely monitoring his health.
Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the hospital for the second time this month.
Earlier, on 7 June, he was MRI at Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC) Hospital in Shimla. During that time the Rajya Sabha MP complained of restlessness and was immediately rushed to the hospital. According to an IGMC doctor, Sonia Gandhi had a slight blood pressure, but her condition was normal and stable.
Naresh Chauhan, Principal Advisor (Media) of Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, said that Sonia Gandhi was taken to the hospital for regular examination due to minor health problems.
A party leader said that after getting information about Sonia Gandhi’s health status, Chief Minister Sukhu shortened his Una Yatra and moved to Shimla.
In addition, Sonia Gandhi was hospitalized a few months ago due to stomach related problems. In February, he was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital under the supervision of a gastroenterology specialist for a day.
In September 2022, Sonia Gandhi went to the US for medical examination. His son and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was with him during that visit. Due to this visit to America, Sonia Gandhi had to leave a large part of the 2022 monsoon session of Parliament.
