New Delhi, May 31 (IANS). Union Minister Jitendra Singh said on Saturday that states should ensure 100 percent access to major government schemes like Ayushman Bharat.
Jitendra Singh urged the officials not to leave any beneficiary unregistered.
“Every citizen should feel the influence of the transformational schemes of the Modi government,” he said.
Jitendra Singh, MP from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha constituency, was speaking at the constituency meeting through video conferencing to finalize a month-long series to finalize a series of activities lasting 11 years of Modi government.
He presented a detailed program for a month -long ceremonies to commemorate the completion of 11 years of the Modi government.
Planned activities include public exhibitions, interaction with media, meetings and coordinated ground level efforts with the aim of ensuring comprehensive public participation and awareness.
He also highlighted the recent progress in science-based agriculture and demonstrated a series of transformational initiatives that have given a new form of agricultural and affairs of the region.
Jitendra Singh also highlighted an important project by the Department of Atomic Energy and DBT to increase the shelf life and productivity of crops, which will now be able to grow Kashmiri as well as Kashmiri apples in Jammu. He is about to launch a two -day Lavender Festival in Bhadarwah on 1 June.
Apart from this, in a major policy announcement, Jitendra Singh revealed the initiative of upcoming cannabis cultivation in collaboration with IIIM Jammu and private partners for the manufacture of medicinal and cancer medicines. He also mentioned the empowerment of self -help groups (SHG) to generate employment and income.
On 5 June, he directed to promote the ‘Ek tree mother’s name’ campaign on 5 June before World Environment Day. Also encouraged citizens to participate in it with more dedication and enthusiasm.
He also advocated organizing a grand ceremony on International Yoga Day (21 June). Especially at major tourist destinations, so that India’s global leadership in the field of health and awareness can be exposed.
