New Delhi, 10 June (IANS). Almost every Indian kitchen’s life is fenugreek seeds. Whether it is a curry or any vegetable, it does not make a matter. The imagination of spicy pickles cannot be done without it. Well, the treasure of health is hidden in these yellow bitter grains. It is particularly included in the prescriptions of Grandma Maa. Not only the traditional medical system but also the modern pathi considers it iron.
In Charak Samhita, fenugreek is named “Kunchaika”. There is a verse- “Kunchaika Vata-Kaphapah, Rasna-Rati-Jann. That is, fenugreek removes vata and phlegm, enhances taste, and protects against diseases.
The book states that fenugreek is interesting, it increases appetite, protects against vata and phlegm diseases, and removes bad odor.
According to a research paper published in the US National Library of Medicine, various nutrients and compounds found in fenugreek extracts make it a powerful medicine.
Fenugreek seeds control BP and works better on type 2 diabetes. Along with accelerating metabolism, it also works for weight loss. This is a boon for hair. For this, soak 1-2 teaspoons of fenugreek seeds for overnight. Grind it in the morning and apply it to the hair roots. Wash hair after one hour. By applying two to three times a week, the hair falls stopping.
Physicians are of the opinion that those who have gentle diseases should not consume fenugreek seeds. Meaning those who do not like hot tasir things, avoid taking it.
It is said that the ethos in which fenugreek is used becomes a medicine rather than a pickle. Fenugreek is something that reduces its effect and puts its qualities in it.
This special type of medicine must be kept in your kitchen. It can also be used in things that enhance Vata. It can also be taken advantage of by putting okra, arhar dal, kadhi, rajma, spinach cheese vegetables.
