New Delhi, 21 May (IANS). The uproating age brings with her white hair, wrinkles and many physical diseases. In today’s date, the market provides many supplements and creams that claim that just a few more days will glow and free from fine lines. But centuries ago, our sages and knowledgeable meditation suggested measures that slow down ‘Zara’. In Ayurveda, Zara is called the process of aging or growing towards old age.
There are two types of Zaras mentioned in Charaka Samhita. One Kaljra and the other Akaljara. The type of we are talking about is Kaljra. Kaljra is a natural process, which leads to the final stage of life by changing the body over time.
This process is a natural result of aging, which are given in Ayurveda to control a balanced diet, lifestyle and controls through herbs.
In Ayurveda, Zara is considered a natural physical and mental process, which is associated with different stages of life. Zara is considered a natural phase of human life, which reflects changes in the body, mind and senses. This process is affected by imbalance of Tridosha (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and erosion of metals (physiological tissues). Ayurveda sees it not only from physical, but also from mental and spiritual perspective.
A little is especially related to the increase in vata dosha, which shows symptoms such as dryness in the skin, joint pain, weakness, and digestive power.
According to Ayurveda, due to a lourage, there is a decrease in the erosion of metals (juice, blood, meat, fattening etc.) and decreased ozas (vitality), increase in vata dosha, which brings physical and mental weakness with aging. At the same time, inappropriate diet can accelerate stress, lack of sleep, and lack of exercise.
Ayurveda also gives the tricks to manage it. Chemistry is used in Ayurveda to slow down and promote healthy aging (healthy aging). It provides regeneration and nutrition to the body and mind. Some major remedies:
Satvik food, such as ghee, milk, almonds, dry grapes, and seasonal fruits. Yes, it is also instructed to avoid heavy, oily, and processed food.
Now it is a matter of some medicines that can make old age happy. Antioxidant -rich foods, such as Amla, turmeric, and basil, slow down this process. Along with this, the myrabalan strengthens the digestive system and improves overall health. Brahmi ( – Helps to increase the functionality and memory of the brain. So Ashwagandha – is a compatible plant to reduce stress and increase energy.
There are some suggestions related to lifestyle-
Take a balanced diet – Focus on food rich in complete and nutrients.
Drink enough water – Stay hydrated and eat herbal tea.
Do regular exercise – Include light exercise like yoga or walk in your routine.
Practice stress management – practice attention, deep breath and other stress reducing techniques.
So in this way, Ayurveda teaches us that old age is not an obstruction of the path, but the beginning of a new experience. This is the time when a person can be spiritually and socially rich by cherishing the essence of his knowledge, experience and life.
