Solan, 27 January (IANS). In view of the continuous increase in cases of diarrhea and jaundice in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, the Health Department has intensified the campaign to make people aware. According to health department officials, jaundice cases have declined, but, it is not completely over and the danger is still intact.
Solan’s MS Dr. MP Singh said that the cases of jaundice have definitely been reduced in the city, but have not been completely abolished. Therefore, people need to be vigilant and follow the guidelines issued by the Health Department. He especially advised the market to avoid eating chowmeen, momos and chaat-papdi and urged to take special care of cleanliness.
MS Singh said, “It is difficult to say that the cases have stopped, but no new case has come up in the hospital in the recent past. The previous day a case came from Kotanala and there was a case before that. Talking about, first of all start drinking water by boiling water and take special care of cleanliness. “
He further said, “Avoiding the vendors who are selling the roadside momos, etc., until the situation is completely controlled. Initially the matters came from Chamba Ghat, but now they have spread from various places, such as Apart from Deogarh, Kotanala, there are also cases from many other places. “
Let us know that for the last few days, cases of diarrhea and jaundice in Solan have been increasing continuously. These cases are mostly coming out from Chambaghat and Kathed areas of the city. Because of this, the administration is on alert mode for the last several days.
