Jaipur, May 27 (IANS). In the last 24 hours in Rajasthan, 9 new cases of Kovid-19 have been reported. 7 of these cases have been reported in Jaipur and two cases were confirmed in AIIMS Jodhpur.
The Health Department has collected samples of all patients and sent it for genome sequencing. Health officials said that two cases have been reported in AIIMS Jodhpur and two cases have been found positive in Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital Jaipur. Four cases were found positive in B Lal Diagnostic Lab in Jaipur, while a case came positive in the molecular diagnostic center in Jaipur. In Jodhpur, a 16 -day -old baby along with a 35 -year -old woman has also confirmed the Corona virus.
A total of 32 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported from 1 January to 27 May, while one death has been reported. Maximum 10 patients in Jaipur have been found infected with Kovid-19. Apart from this, six patients have appeared in Jodhpur, four in Udaipur, three in Didwana, two in Ajmer, one in Sawai Madhopur, one in Phalodi, one in Bikaner.
Health department officials are constantly monitoring the situation and are urging citizens to follow the safety protocol and conduct an inquiry on the symptoms.
After the increase in Kovid-19 cases, Rajasthan Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khivansar held a high-level meeting with officials of the Medical and Health Department on Tuesday. During the meeting, he issued necessary instructions to strengthen preventive measures and ensure medical preparations.
The minister had said that according to the central government, the current Kovid-19 variants are not considered fatal, but people should be cautious and consult a doctor if you see symptoms like cough, cold or fever.
Khivansar emphasized the need to take additional precautions especially for the elderly, pregnant women, persons with persons suffering from serious illnesses and children, including children. He advised people to escape from crowded places and seek medical advice in case of symptoms of diseases like influenza.
