Obesity is becoming the biggest epidemic in India. The number of people suffering from obicity has increased rapidly in the last few years. Recently, a report by The Lanset said that every year about 7 crore people in India are becoming obese, with about four and a half crore women and 250 million men and one and a half crore children are falling victim to obesity. These figures are frightening because Obesity itself is a disease in itself, but it also gives birth to many other diseases in the body. Thick looking people from outside may be healthy, but fat and obesity makes other parts of the body prematurely old.
