In Maharashtra, the cases of Guilan-Baire syndrome (GBS) are coming up rapidly. After several cases came to light in Pune, one has died of Guilan-Baire syndrome in Solapur. According to the Maharashtra Health Department, till 26 January, there were 101 active patients of Guilan Barre syndrome. Which includes Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad and many other districts. If the GBS is not able to get treatment in time, then the situation can be serious. In such a situation, Delhi’s MD Medicine, DM Neurology Dr. Priyanka Sehrawat has shared a video and gave information that what should you not include in your diet to avoid this disease?
Guilan-Baire Syndrome Symptoms:
Guilan-Baire syndrome causes muscle weakness. In this disease, there are also symptoms like severe weakness in the hands and feet. Symptoms of GBS usually begin on both legs, then move upwards in the arms. Sometimes, symptoms begin in the arms or head and move downwards. Symptoms include weakness and an uncomfortable tingling. Weakness is more prominent than abnormal sensations. The immune system attacks our own body. Its symptoms spread rapidly.
Avoid eating these things:
In this video, Dr. Priyanka Sehrawat has urged people to avoid eating food out to prevent this disease. To avoid this disease, it is advisable to not consume cheese, rice and cheese. Paneer and cheese are dairy products and these foods are more likely to flourish bacteria.
Actually, these foods have high moisture content, due to which bacteria can flourish in it. Ripe rice can contain basilus crescent, which can cause toxins when kept at room temperature, which can cause food toxicity. So do not consume them. Also, wash and eat fruits and vegetables and take care of your immunity and increase it. Also, eat vitamin C rich foods in your diet
