New Delhi, 13 May (IANS). Teeth are very important part of our body, which not only enhances the beauty of our face, but also plays a special role in chewing and digesting food. But in today’s run -of -the -mill life, due to wrong eating and not doing proper cleaning of the mouth, the problems related to teeth are increasing rapidly. The most common and serious problem of these problems is ‘teeth decay’ i.e. cavity.
The problem of tooth decay occurs when we do not regularly clean our teeth, eat more sweet or eat sticky things. These things accumulate on the teeth and promote bacteria, which make acids and gradually damage the upper layer of tooth. Over time, this layer starts to break and the tooth decay starts. People of all ages from children to the elderly are affected by this problem.
Initially it is difficult to detect tooth decay, because there is no pain, but as this problem increases, cold or hot, chewing pain and problems like smell from the mouth begin to appear. This problem is most seen in children, because they eat more chocolate, toffee and sweet things and do not do brush properly. If it is not treated in time, it can reach the veins inside the teeth, which can cause severe pain, swelling and even tooth extract. So it is important that we take care of our teeth and treat it in time.
Now the question comes, how to stop this problem, or if this problem is done then what is its cure?
According to the National Institute of Dental and Craneophysical Research (NIDCR), if the problem of tooth decay is in an early stage, it can be prevented and corrected. In such cases dentists apply fluoride. It strengthens the outer layer of teeth and helps to cure early rot. But if the decay has increased and a hole is formed in the teeth, then treatment with fluoride is not possible only. In such a situation, dentists remove the rotten part of the teeth, so that it does not spread further. The empty part of the teeth is then filled with filling material. It is called filling.
Brush with fluoride toothpaste to prevent the problem of tooth decay. Brushing with fluoride toothpaste twice a day strengthens the teeth. Use fluoride mouth rinins, which prevents them from rot by creating a layer on the teeth. Follow good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day in the morning and night. Clean well between the teeth, so that the stranded food particles are released. Most of the bacteria thrive there.
Avoid sweet and starch foods. Eat a balanced and nutritious diet, health and gums like healthy eating fruits, vegetables, milk and pulses. Make a habit of not eating anything again and again, because eating frequently causes more bacteria attack on the teeth. Every time every six months go to the dentist for a checkup.
