Prayagraj, 22 April (IANS). In most areas of the country, mercury seems to be increasing. In April itself, the heat of summer like May-June is being felt. In view of the intense heat, excellent initiative has been taken in Motilal Nehru Mandal Hospital in Prayagraj. Under this, stalls of ORS solution have been set up in the campus.
The district hospital of Prayagraj has set up an air -conditioned special ward of about 25 beds for immediate and better treatment of patients suffering from heat and heat stroke. Along with this, stalls from ORS solution have also been set up in the hospital premises. People coming to the hospital praised the hospital administration on this system.
Dr. SK Chaudhary, Principal Superintendent of Motilal Nehru Mandal Hospital, said, “It is the time of heat wave. In view of excess heat and heat, we have been reserved for 25 beds in the same order. In the same order, 25 beds have been reserved for heat wave. In which AC, cooler, fans are all engaged.”
He said, “Along with this, ORS counters have been made at various places. If a patient feels weak, he can immediately drink ORS packet and drink it in water. If the patient of heat stroke comes in the emergency, a team has been made immediately, no problem has been made, a team has also been formed.”
One person said, “This is a very good arrangement. Right now the summer season is very fast, if people come and get some energy, then it is fine. It is a great benefit to people.”
Another woman said, “Very good arrangements have been made in the hospital. After coming from the heat, a man can drink ORS solution, which will bring energy in the body. It is very beneficial for the people.”
