Prayagraj, 9 March (IANS). Hospitalized poor and economically weaker class patients are being treated free of cost through the ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme. Ram Prakash is undergoing treatment of Ram Prakash under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Yojana at Moti Lal Nehru Mandal Hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Ram Prakash’s son Jai Narayan told IANS, “My father is hospitalized. He is undergoing treatment of bone. The hospital is undergoing treatment with Ayushman card. If we did not have a card, we would have a lot of trouble in treatment. We are laborers.
He informed that the father is getting free treatment in the hospital with Ayushman card. You can treat anywhere across the country. There is no problem, good treatment is being done. Earlier no government had provided such facility. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done very well by running the scheme. This card is a huge support for the poor man.
Regarding the ration scheme, Jai Narayan said that he also has great benefit from this scheme. He said, “Our work is still going on even if we do not have work. Now there is no hungry gold. The Prime Minister’s plan is good. He is doing a very good work. We are happy with his actions and thank them a lot.”
It is noteworthy that Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a scheme that aims to help the economically weaker sections of the society. This health insurance scheme provides the facility of treatment up to five lakh rupees in a year to about 50 crore families in the country.
