Uttar Pradesh: Yoga Day celebrated in various districts giving a message of healthy life

Lucknow, 21 June (IANS). On 21 June, the 11th International Yoga Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and enthusiasm in the whole world as well as Uttar Pradesh. With the theme of “Ek Earth, a health for a health”, collective yoga exercises, awareness programs and cultural events were held in various districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to spread the ancient Indian tradition of yoga to the people has threaded not only India, but 177 countries of the world in the formula of yoga.

From Gonda to Amroha, Sambhal, Sultanpur, Farrukhabad, Chandauli, Sitapur and Bareilly, the people of Uttar Pradesh are moving towards a healthy and stress -free life, showing their commitment to yoga.

In Kodar village of Gonda district, where Maharishi of Yoga is considered the birthplace of Patanjali. This time Yoga Day was organized in Composite School Kodar for the first time.

Thousands of people including Cabinet Minister Dara Singh Chauhan attended the event organized with the efforts of District Magistrate Neha Sharma.

DM Neha Sharma said, “Kodar village is being developed as the birthplace of Maharishi Patanjali. The tourism department is doing Dharamshala and other construction work at a cost of crores of rupees. It is our privilege that it is a historical site in Gonda, where mass yoga exercises were organized on the banks of lake.”

Minister of State Dharamvir Prajapati did yoga with children, teachers and local people at a program organized at Shashi Madan Public School in Chandausi in Sambhal district.

He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought yoga to international level, for this I give him gratitude.”

Rejecting the controversy over Surya Namaskar, he said, “Life is not possible without the Sun. Namaz also includes the process of Surya Namaskar, so it should not be disputed.”

Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar, District Magistrate Kumar Harsh and other officials performed yoga with citizens at the environment park in Sultanpur. The program also broadcast the live address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Yogasanas like Pranayama, Kapalbhati and Anulom-Vilom were practiced in Satanpur Aloo Mandi in Farrukhabad. BJP MP Mukesh Rajput said, “The whole world is doing yoga today with the initiative of the Prime Minister.”

Dr. Shakir Ali Mansoori, National President of All India Pasmanda Muslim Samaj, criticized Yoga with religion, saying, “There is no need to connect yoga with any religion. Namaz is also a form of yoga.”

Hundreds of people did yoga in the presence of Minister in -charge KP Malik at Amroha’s Mini Stadium. He said, “Yoga is a precious gift of Indian culture, which keeps the mind and body healthy.”

Despite the rain in Chandauli, yoga was organized in the hall of Mahendra Inter College, which included Minister of State Sanjeev Gond and Rajya Sabha MP Sadhana Singh.

Sadhana Singh said, “Do yoga, stay healthy. Happiness without a healthy body is useless.”

In -charge Minister Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh at Sacred Head Higher Secondary School in Sitapur, while emphasizing the importance of yoga, said, “Yoga is making its mark not only in India, but all over the world. It makes our ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ slogan to meaningful.”

In Bareilly’s police line, ADG Ramit Sharma, DIG Ajay Sahni and Senior Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya did yoga with policemen. ADG Ramit Sharma said, “We have resolved to make yoga a part of our routine.”

In these events, along with yoga, the message of environmental protection was also given. Plantation occurred under the campaign “A tree mother’s name” campaign in Sitapur.

Awareness of yoga was spread in schools, public places and offices in various districts of Uttar Pradesh. Yoga instructors were honored and people were motivated for regular yoga practice.
