New Delhi, 9 June (IANS). The outbreak of scorching heat continues in many parts of the country with scorching sun, humidity and heat. However, Pranayama is also with Pranayama to keep the body and mind cool like other problems. Yes! One such pranayama is the name of Sheetali Pranayama, which is very effective in summer. Doing this on summer days gives many benefits not one or two.

As it is clear from the name of Sheetali Pranayama that it keeps cool. The more effective it is, the easier it is. This pranayama is a yogic breathing technique, in which the air is drawn inside by shaping the tongue or beating the tongue like a tube. This air cools the body and controls the breath. Health experts recommend it to make it 5-10 minutes daily, which provides many health benefits.

Many benefits can be taken by including Sheetali Pranayama in your routine. It provides coolness to the body and protects against heat. It reduces stress and anxiety, which calms the brain. It is very beneficial for mental health.

This pranayama also calms the heat of the stomach, which gives relief in digestive problems such as constipation, vata, raw belching and acidity. It is also very effective for those who have high blood pressure problems. It also keeps the heart healthy.

The Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India advises to include Sheetli Pranayama in the routine. Doing it before going to bed at night also gives better sleep. It also makes the skin shiny and reduces skin problems caused by heat.

Health experts say that it is very simple to do Sheetali Pranayam. For its practice, sit on a quiet place on an empty stomach in the morning. Fold the tongue and take the air in, stop the breath for a few seconds and leave it slowly from the nose. It should be repeated 5-10 times.

Sheetali Pranayama is a natural and easy way to keep the body and mind cool in summer. However, some precautions should also be taken before doing this. This pranayama is fine in summer, but it should be reduced in winter. In addition, patients with cold-cold or asthma should consult an expert before doing it.
