Senior maternity and gynecology advisor Dr. Sushila Khutta said that to lose weight after delivery, first of all you should keep in mind that you do not hurry, but try to lose weight slowly and safely, so that your health and breastfeeding ability are not affected. The most important thing is to give the body rest and healthy for the first 6 weeks after delivery. Then start taking a balanced diet that includes green vegetables, fruits, whole grains, pulses, protein -rich foods such as yogurt, eggs, cheese and adequate water. Eat less fried, more sweet and processed foods. Eat 5 to 6 times a day and eat a little bit so that the body continues to get energy. Breastfeeding also helps in weight loss as it burns calories. After consulting your doctor, do light exercise like walking, yoga or stretching.

Experts at Cocoon Hospital say that you must get enough sleep, although it can be a bit difficult with the newborn, but relax as much as possible. But during this time it is very important to rest, so that your health is fine and you can avoid problems like depression or psychosis.
