In winter and summer, you should include breads made from different grains in your diet. Actually, we all eat rotis made from wheat flour throughout the year. Eat rotis 2-3 times a day from lunch to dinner. In such a situation, if any disease is to be controlled then it is necessary to change the diet. People who are high cholesterol patients should eat flour mixed with other grains instead of wheat bread. In winter, mix millet flour with wheat flour and make rotis and eat it. This roti will keep your cholesterol under control in winter.

Cholesterol is a waxy, smooth substance in the body that is produced by the liver. There are two types of cholesterol which include good cholesterol and bad cholesterol. If bad cholesterol starts increasing, it can cause fatal diseases like heart attack and stroke. Bad cholesterol can be controlled to a great extent through diet. Cholesterol increases significantly in cold weather. But if you eat mixed rotis of wheat and millet flour, it can help in controlling cholesterol.

Millet is called the king of winter. Bajra flour contains more nutrients than wheat. That is why millet is called a treasure of qualities. Protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals are found in millet. Bajra roti keeps the body warm and after eating it the stomach remains full for a long time. To control cholesterol, mix 1 bowl of millet flour in 1 bowl of wheat flour. Knead this dough and make rotis. Keep this roti included in your diet throughout the winter. Your bad cholesterol will be under control.

Benefits of eating millet bread

By eating millet roti, the body gets plenty of fiber and healthy fat. Due to which bad cholesterol can be controlled. Since millet roti contains protein and fiber, it helps in weight loss. Being gluten free, it helps in weight loss. Antioxidants are found in millet which are beneficial for the heart. Bajra roti is also beneficial in diabetes. This strengthens the bones.
