New Delhi, October 9 (IANS). Just as when our body is bad, we are unable to do any work, in the same way, when our mind is bad, we are unable to do any work efficiently, but if this is not an irony then what else can we say that we They are sensitive to problems related to the body, but ignore problems related to the mind. Because of which we have to face many dire consequences.
Now our society has become aware about mental health. With the aim of spreading this awareness, every year October 10 is celebrated as ‘World Mental Health Day’. On this day people are made aware about mental health. Now its positive results are also being seen on the ground. Celebrating it started in 1992. The theme of World Mental Health Day in 2024 is “It’s time to prioritize mental health in the workplace”.
According to the World Health Organization, one in four people is experiencing some form of mental health issue. 60 to 70 million people in India are suffering from mental problems. Many times people do not pay much attention to mental health and ignore it, which leads to dire consequences. Many times it has also been seen that a person is struggling with mental problems (mentally ill). But, he himself does not realize this, nor do the people around him realize it. Many times we ignore it considering it to be the temperament or habit of that person, but it does not happen.
In 2024, emphasis has been laid on creating a positive environment at the workplace, so that people suffering from mental problems are not forced to take any terrible step. Health experts say that 50 percent of the population is struggling with mental problems in their lives, but they do not even realize it.
Health experts say that sometimes people face mental health issues due to irregular working hours and lack of work life balance. The first symptom of deteriorating mental health is loss of concentration, later this problem becomes serious. In such a situation, it is important that it be identified in time, so that a way to cure it can be found.
