The amount of carbohydrates in the meal at night: Eating excessive amounts of carbohydrates at night can increase blood sugar levels. Metabolism slows down at night, causing glucose to not burn quickly, and carbohydrates are quickly converted into glucose, causing a sudden increase in blood sugar.



Lack of sleep: Lack of sleep can reduce insulin sensitivity, which can increase blood sugar levels.



Hormonal changes at night: At night, hormone levels such as cortisol in the body may increase, which can increase blood sugar levels.

You have to take care of some things to prevent increasing sugar at night. Like do not eat food after 7 pm. Reduce calories and avoid consuming high calories or carbs foods at night.
