Everyone eagerly waits for this festival which brings a feeling of happiness, celebration and unity among the people. Decoration of houses, lights, eating delicious sweets and delicious dishes with family and friends makes this festival even more special. However, amidst the celebrations, we need to take special care about our health. Especially people who have diabetes, they are advised to be more cautious about their eating habits during Diwali. There are various types of sweet and tasty dishes in the festival of Diwali, in fact, Diwali is without sweets. The festival remains incomplete. Sugar level should not increase anywhere

If we look at the statistics of the last few years, we find that during the festive season, most of the diabetic patients complain of the problem of increased blood sugar. What should be the eating habits during Diwali?

To keep sugar levels under control, diabetic patients should avoid sweets. People whose sugar level is often high are advised to be more careful. Instead of sugar, sweets made from jaggery and dry fruits can be consumed in moderation. Increase the amount of fiber rich things in the diet, so that the side effects caused by eating sweets can be reduced. Apart from this, it is important to drink plenty of water throughout the day, this can make it easier to control sugar. Dishes prepared with whole grain flour should be consumed instead of refined flour.
