New Delhi, 12 April (IANS). Nature has given us many such gifts whose medicinal properties we remain unknown. One such plant is Jirhul. This attractive and colorful flower not only adorns the gardens, but its many medicinal properties make it a wonderful natural medicine.
According to the research gate of the Research Gate, Jirhul has been used in Ayurveda and traditional medical practices since ancient times. Its flowers, leaves and even its roots are rich in medicinal properties. In Ayurveda, it is considered to be Tridosha destroyer i.e. it helps in balanced the three vata, bile and phlegm.
Jirhul flowers are most commonly used in hair care. It prevents hair loss, reduces dandruff and maintains the natural glow of hair. Its oil nourishes hair roots and helps in growing new hair.
This flower is also beneficial in skin problems. The antioxidants and antibacterial elements present in Zirhul protect the skin from infection and pimples help reduce stains. Its face pack is considered effective for improving the skin.
