Jalandhar,In Jalandhar, Punjab, a travel agent cheated a person of Rs 35 lakh 40 thousand in the name of sending him to Russia. The man was ready to go abroad to bring back his brother who was stranded in Russia. But his brother has not returned yet.
Actually, an FIR was registered in Jalandhar regarding human trafficking. Police have already arrested two accused in this. But victim Jagdeep is not satisfied with the police action.
It has been more than one and a half years since the Russia and Ukraine war and the war is still going on between the two countries. But due to Russia and Ukraine war, many Indians are still stranded in Russia. The reason for these Indians getting stuck there is because of the travel agents, these agents have forcefully trapped many Indian citizens in the army there, many videos of which were also revealed. At the same time, a brother is going to Russia to search for his other brother, where his brother is working in the army there.
Jagdeep Kumar, brother of Mandeep Kumar, who is stuck in Russia and working for the army there, told that one to one and a half years ago his brother had gone to Armenia to work. But due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, there was talk of sending his brother and his companions from Armenia to Italy by fake travel agents of Punjab.
Jagdeep Kumar told that his brother had collected money to go there after seeing an advertisement for work in Italy on social media.
But these fake travel agents had talked about Rs 7 lakh each in the name of sending his brother and 10 people to Italy. But when his brother and his companions crossed the Armenia border and reached Russia, the fake travel agent started demanding money and along with the travel agents there forced them to work in the Russian Army.
He told that so far Rs 35 lakh 40 have been given to the travel agents to bring his brother back safely. But his brother has not been able to return to India yet.
