100 houses damaged due to short circuit in village of Karnataka, see Live Video of blasts - India tv hindi

A sudden thunderstorm and storm in Jalibenchi village in Surpur taluka in Yadgir district of Karnataka have caused havoc. Due to strong winds, the main electrical lines fell and fell, causing a severe short circuit. About 100 houses were affected in the incident which took place late on Tuesday night. Electronic equipment like TV, fridge, fans in more than 100 houses was damaged. The accident starts from an old transformer pole located near the Mallikarjuna temple. There has been chaos in the village after the accident.

Video of horrific event viral

Many videos of this horrific incident are going viral, in which the flames emanating from electric poles, smoke rising from roofs and flames coming out of the houses are seen. Burned switchboards, burnt batteries, black fan blades, spoiled TVs and refrigerators are seen in homes. Two people have been injured in the incident, although their condition remains stable.

Initial investigations show that the incident occurred due to sudden strong winds in the area. Due to these strong winds, the old electric wires collided with each other, causing a short circuit and later on fire. However, its exact reason has not been officially confirmed yet.
