Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao has ordered experts to conduct a study from experts to investigate the increasing cases of heart attack in Hassan district.
Posting on ‘X’, the minister said that the Health Department has taken seriously 18 cases of heart attack in Hassan district within a month.
He said, “I have already directed the officials of the department to conduct an inquiry into the increasing cases of a heart attack under the leadership of the director of ‘Jaydev Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research’ and submit a report by experts.
According to Rao, the state government has launched the ‘Puneet Rajkumar Hriday Jyoti’ scheme to prevent cases of heart attack. However, recently there is a need to do in -depth research on increasing cases of heart attack among youth.
Although changing lifestyle, food and non-communicable diseases are considered to be the cause of heart problems, but the cases that have been reported in Haasan have raised many questions. To find a solution, a team of experts has been instructed to research and submit a report within 10 days.
