TRF, the organization of Lashkar -e -Tibba, has taken responsibility for this attack. 26 tourists have died in this attack, while many people have been injured, who are undergoing treatment. People from Karnataka are also among the victims of this attack. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah has given a statement about this. Siddaramaiah has strongly condemned the incident and sent two teams to Jammu and Kashmir. Siddaramaiah said that we are closely monitoring this incident.

What did Siddaramaiah say

Siddaramaiah wrote, ‘I strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Kannada is also among the victims of this shocking incident. On receiving the news, I called an emergency meeting and reviewed the situation with Chief Secretary and Senior Police Officers. I have also spoken to the Resident Commissioner in Delhi. After my instructions, two teams, one senior officers and the other police personnel, have been sent to Jammu and Kashmir. An adventure team of the Sports Department under the leadership of Commissioner Chetan is also on the way. We are closely monitoring the developments. All necessary assistance will be provided. Please be confident, the Karnataka government stands firmly with the affected people.

PM Modi said- will not be spared

PM Modi wrote on X, ‘I strongly condemn the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured people recover as soon as possible. All possible assistance is being provided to the affected people. Those who are behind this heinous act will be brought to the dock of justice. They will not be spared! Their nefarious agenda will never succeed. Our resolve to fight terrorism is firm and it will be even stronger.
