28 Indians stranded in Bahrain will be brought back to the country safely. Indian history has informed that about 28 fishermen were arrested in Bahrain. Told in the embassy that earlier his punishment was for 6 months which was reduced to 3 months.

Let us tell you that the Indian Embassy in Bahrain has announced on social media that 28 Indian fishermen have been brought back safely to India. Earlier he was sentenced to 6 months in jail, which has now been reduced to 3 months, after which he has been sent back after making all arrangements for his return under GoI’s Indian Community Welfare Fund.
The Embassy has said that it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of all Indian citizens. It said all have been deported in coordination with Bahraini authorities. All these fish farmers are residents of Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. Bahrain Coast Guard arrested him on September 11. Actually all the Indians used to work in Iran but by mistake unknowingly crossed the border and went to Bahrain. Where he was arrested and put in jail.
