New Delhi. The 33rd International Lecture Series program on Ved and world peace was held in New Delhi on 11 February. Famous scholars, policy makers and thinkers were brought together on a platform to know the deep impact of Vedic knowledge on global harmony, education and human consciousness. The keynote speaker of the program, Dr. Tony Nadar, emphasized the scientific and spiritual dimensions of Vedic knowledge in modern education, health and research. Dr. Nadar is a well -known specialist of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s global successor, prestigious neurocientist (Harvard and MIT) and Transcendental Meditation. On this occasion, Dr. Tony Nadar, advisor to non-profit organizations in more than 100 countries, was also inaugurated by ‘Consciousness is all there is,’.
The program began with the welcome speech of Dr. Akshita Bahuguna, the founder of the Future Icons Foundation. He stressed the eternal relevance of Vedic teachings and spoke. As a special speaker, Dr. Bal Mukund Pandey, National Organization Secretary of All India History Compilation Scheme, New Delhi, underlined the historical significance of Vedas in shaping civilization.
Raja Luis Alwarz, international president of Maharishi Universities and director of Transcendental Meditation, expressed his views on the global impact of Vedic knowledge and meditation in modern times, referring to an international perspective. The program concluded with a vote of thanks to Dr. Rajesh Naithani. Dr. Naithani thanked all the distinguished citizens, speakers and others present in the program.
West Bengal MP Jagannath Sarkar, VC Prof. of Delhi Teachers University. Dhananjay Joshi, VC of UPES University. Rama, former DGP of Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar and Joshi Math lord Ashish also addressed the people. All eminent personalities like Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, former Vice Chancellor Devi Prasad Tripathi and Agriculture Scientist Dr. Stephen John were also present there during this period.
