New Delhi. The security forces have got a big success under the anti -Naxal campaign in Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. Four Naxalites have been killed in an encounter that took place here in the mountainous area of Pachama Dadar. There were three women Naxalites among them. A large number of weapons and explosives have been recovered from the slain Naxalites. Special DG Pankaj Srivastava said that some Naxalites have run away after getting a chance, in search of which a search operation is being conducted in the surrounding area. A hand grenade, a rocket launcher, a 315 rifle and cartridges have been found from the Naxalites.
The DG said that on the basis of secret information, it was found that the Naxalites were plotting to carry out a major incident in this area. The Hawk Force and other security forces together carried out the operation to thwart his conspiracy. On the other hand, the Chief Minister of the state Mohan Yadav announced to reward the policemen who had carried out the Balaghat Naxalite encounter. He also said in the response that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh is continuously working towards our resolve to end Naxalism by March 2026. The government will free the poor tribals and villagers from the atrocities of Naxalites.
