Which aircraft will participate?
A total of 40 aircraft are part of the Republic Day Parade, out of which 22 are fighter aircraft. These include transport aircraft as well as helicopters. Apart from this, three Dornier aircraft will also be a part of the Republic Day parade. However, this time there will be no tableau of the Indian Air Force on Republic Day.
Invitation to 10 thousand special guests
Around 10,000 special guests, including Paralympic contingent members, sarpanches of notable performing villages, handloom artisans and forest and wildlife conservation workers, have been invited to witness the parade to mark India’s 76th Republic Day.
