Dhanbad. After the mass murder of tourists in Pahalgam, vigilance is being taken in every state. Under this vigil, Jharkhand Police has arrested the fifth suspect of Huzb Ut Tahrir, a terrorist organization from Dhanbad. According to the newspaper Dainik Jagran, five suspects of Hizb Uttahir have been caught from Dhanbad in a week. The one who has been arrested by Jharkhand ATS is Yasir Ammar, a resident of Shamsher Nagar in Bhuli OP area of Dhanbad. Several documents of the terrorist organization have been found from the mobile of Yasir Ammar, a suspected member of Hizb Ut Tahrir.
In Dhanbad, Jharkhand ATS soldiers have taken effective action and arrested 5 suspects of terrorist organization Hizb Ud Tahrir.
According to Jharkhand ATS sources, Yasir Ammar conferred during interrogation that he was earlier associated with a dangerous terrorist organization named IM i.e. Indian Mujahideen. He was arrested by the Jodhpur police of Rajasthan in that case. Yasir Ammar confessed to Jharkhand ATS that he stayed in jail for about 10 years and came out on getting bail in May 2024. In Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, SOG registered a UAPA and explosive case on Yasir Ammar in 2024. At the same time, in the year 2019, a case took place at Lalkothi police station in Jaipur. Earlier in the year 2014, a case was also registered against Yasir Ammar at Pratapnagar police station in Jodhpur.
Yasir Ammar has told in interrogation that he was in touch with other members of Hizb Ut Tahrir Ayan Javed, Shabnam Parveen, Gulfam Hasan and Shahzad Alam in Dhanbad. Prior to Yasir Ammar, Jharkhand ATS arrested the remaining four from Bank Moda police station area of Dhanbad on 26 April. On April 30, everyone was questioned in remand. During this time, Yasir Ammar was also reported to be in Hizb Ut Tahrir. After which he was also caught. Jharkhand ATS claims that all the accused were misleading the youth through internet and other means by joining Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinet, ISIS, Indian Mujahideen Vagaira. It is alleged that they also used to do business of illegal weapons. Weapons, cartridges, documents of terrorist organizations, books and electronic equipment have also been found from all.
