Chikkamagaluru: A horrific road accident occurred in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka. According to the information, a road accident occurred on Wednesday in Jaldurga in Koppa taluka in Chikkamgaluru district. KSRTC bus of state transport from Chikkamgaluru towards Sringeri suddenly lost control in Jaldurga near Jayapura and fell into a roadside pit. This bus climbed a house on the slope.

At the time of the incident, there was light rain in the area, causing the roads slippery. Due to this, the driver lost control of the bus. The roof of the house has also been damaged due to the fall of the bus. The bus driver and a passenger suffered serious injuries in the accident, while other passengers suffered minor injuries.

According to the information, ten people were admitted to the government hospital in Jaipur. Two people, including the bus driver, were admitted to Koppa Hospital. Shanta, who lives in the house where the bus collided, also suffered injuries from the collision. Local residents immediately helped the injured to the hospital. Local people claimed that the main cause of the accident was overseasing. Local people alleged that the bus was old and would not have been maintained properly. Several eyewitnesses and locals alleged that the bus was running at a high speed at the time of the accident.
Police registered a case
As soon as the incident was reported, Jaipurra police reached the spot and relief and rescue work was started. MLA T.D. Raje Gowda also visited the spot and reviewed the situation. The police registered a case and admitted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
