New Delhi. India has successfully tested Akash Prime, giving further strength to its air defense system. The Akash Prime Defense System is designed by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). It is an advanced version of India’s self -built sky weapon system. The Indian Army achieved this important achievement by successfully destroying 2 aerial high speed unmanned targets by Akash Prime at an altitude of 15000 feet in Ladakh sector. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated the Indian Army, DRDO for this remarkable achievement.

The Defense Minister said that the successful use of Akash Prime will further increase India’s air defense capabilities. Enemies, enemy missiles, fighter aircraft, drones can now be demolished more accuracy in particular. Features of Akash Prime
Akash Prime is completely indigenous. Through this, goals can be pierced up to 18 to 20 kilometers by covering a distance of 25 to 45 kilometers. Another specialty of Akash Prime is that 64 targets can be tracked together and 12 goals can be attacked simultaneously. In this, every missile is equipped with explosives of up to 60 kg. In the area with excessive height, excessive cold and low oxygen such as Ladakh, Akash Prime gave two faster air goals that reflect its accuracy in every situation.
