New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party has already geared up for the assembly elections to be held in Delhi in February-March next year. Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal has also released the first list of party candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections. The names of 11 candidates have been announced in this list. The special thing is that out of these 11, there are 6 candidates who have recently left BJP and Congress and joined Aam Aadmi Party. On some seats, Kejriwal has canceled the tickets of his sitting MLAs and given tickets to leaders from other parties.

– Veer Singh Dhingan from Seemapuri
– Zubair Chaudhary from Seelampur
– Manoj Tyagi from Karawal Nagar
– Somesh Shaukeen from Matiala
– Gaurav Sharma from Ghonda
If seen in this way, Arvind Kejriwal has given preference to people from BJP and Congress over the old leaders of his party. Six out of 11 candidates are those who have recently left BJP or Congress and joined AAP. Some of them Brahma Singh Tanwar and Anil Jha have been MLAs while being in BJP while Veer Singh Dhingan has been a Congress MLA. Apart from these, Bibi Tyagi has left BJP and Zuber Choudhary, Somesh Shaukeen have left Congress. Aam Aadmi Party has canceled the tickets of sitting MLAs Rituraj Jha from Kirari, Abdul Rehman from Seelampur and Gulab Singh from Matiala. There are three names in this list of AAP candidates who lost the 2020 assembly elections but Kejriwal has given them another chance, they include Deepak Singla, Sarita Singh and Ram Singh Netaji.
