New Delhi. The excitement for assembly elections has intensified in Delhi. Meanwhile, the political battle continues between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party regarding CM residence. Aam Aadmi Party tried to show the CM residence on Wednesday to counter BJP’s allegations. AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Saurabh Bhardwaj reached the Chief Minister’s residence at 6 Flag Staff Marg. However, both the leaders were stopped from going inside the CM residence. A large number of police forces were deployed there and barricades were installed. After this, AAP leaders staged a dharna outside the CM residence.
AAP leaders alleged that they were being prevented from showing the truth to the public. Saurabh Bhardwaj said police told him there were “orders from above”. At the same time, during the strike, PWD took possession of the Chief Minister’s residence.
After ending the protest, Sanjay Singh and Saurabh Bhardwaj turned towards the PM’s residence being built in Central Vista. He said that the public should also be shown the PM’s residence, the cost of which is many times more than the CM’s residence.
