AAP questioned the delay in the announcement of the name of the Chief Minister of Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) again targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the delay in the announcement of the name of the Chief Minister in Delhi and said that the party has no “face” to run the government.

AAP senior leader and acting Chief Minister of Delhi, while addressing the press conference, accused the BJP of lack of a reliable leader for governance in the national capital.

He said, “It has been ten days since the election results were declared. People felt that the BJP would announce its Chief Minister and Cabinet on February 9 and would start development work immediately. But now it has become clear that he has no face for governance in Delhi. ”

Atishi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not trust any of the 48 BJP MLAs elected in Delhi and alleged that the party has no ‘vision’ or plan for the government. He said, “The BJP knows very well that it only has to loot the people of Delhi. If they do not have any competent person to run the government, how will they work for people? ”

After the decisive victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, the political fight between AAP and the BJP is going to increase further due to the delay in the decision of the leadership.

In the recently concluded 70 -member Delhi Assembly elections, BJP won 48 seats, while AAP won 22 seats. The election results were declared on February 8 after voting on February 5.

The BJP’s victory ended the AAP rule in the national capital. In the 2020 assembly elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats, while BJP won only eight seats.
