The election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor is to be held on 25 April, in such a situation, it has been decided to become BJP’s mayor due to the Aam Aadmi Party’s election process.

Atishi Marlena said, “We respect the people of Delhi and we do not believe in buying or selling any councilor or MLA.” The BJP has increased the number of councilors due to the sabotage, purchase of councilors. If the Aam Aadmi Party has to win the election of the mayor, then buying or breaking councilors is the only way, but we do not believe in such politics, so we are not contesting the election of mayor.
At the same time, BJP Delhi spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor surrounded Atishi and said that the Aam Aadmi Party knows that it has lost a majority in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
